Scutellaria is a 'trophorestorative' - therefore restores balance and a state of neutrality, with specificity for the nervous system.

Therefore, the effective use of Skullcap can potentially affect any imbalance or disorder of the nervous system. These include, but are not limited to, anxiety and agitation, pain, muscle spasms, panic attacks, nervous exhaustion, seizure, headache, paranoia, insomnia, restless sleep, and nightmares.

Has also been used in the treatment/management of schizophrenia, petit mal seizures,  spasms/twitches of tardive dyskinesia, restless leg syndrome, mild tourettes, and bruxism (grinding teeth).

Used when trying to maintain focus, and concentration, and improve mood stability but without loss of cognitive function. Low or fluctuating moods, depressed states, and exhaustion, due to hormonal imbalance can be specifically positively affected.

3-5mls up to 3 times daily.

N.B. Skullcap has previously been wrongly accused of causing liver damage but has since been shown that the adulteration of herbal products had been to blame in this instance..and rightly attributed to 'Germander'.
