Hey..I'm Clare. I live and work near the coast in North East England, with my two outstanding young humans and a massive pooch.

Nurse, mam, vegan person, eco-warrior, green witch, developing herbalist, science geek, and genuine caring soul.

Alongside a life-long love of nature; plants and animals, and outdoor adventures, I now manage my chronic conditions, physical restrictions and a shed-load of medications. Thank the Goddess for the blessings of plant medicine!

Up here I'm the one-woman band behind 'ROOTS H.N' - pinny-wearing and secateur-wielding dreamer, creator, designer, planner, grower, harvester, preserver, medicine-maker, and now..website builder (apparently).

My purpose, vision, and reason for being here, is to support and empower others to find comfort, relief, strength, power, and peace.

My plant knowledge has developed through working with the plants, learning from them, research and self-study, and the current Herbal Medicine certification route I'm working towards.

What makes all this extra special? Is bringing all those elements together, with passion, grit and hope, in support of each other.
